It's a cheap lithium battery, 6 months in the camera and it grew so large it had to be pried out.

Does this battery require a different charger ...

Does this battery require a different charger since it's voltage is higher than the original, or can the (P900) camera's internal charger get it to full capacity?

Your question is about "camera's internal charger". The camera has socket for micro-B terminal of USB cable. In theory the USB gives you 5 VDC, but it will not be lower than 4.5 VDC. So, it should be OK for this Watson battery. - - - Moving the subject to external charger (outside camera), I notice that my Nikon type MH-67P (dedicated to EN-EL23 battery) offers as output 4.35 VDC, exactly the voltage of the Watson battery, when charged at maximum.

Does this battery work either the eh-71p or eh-73p charger charging ac adapter that came with my Nikon coolpix 900?
