Lectrosonics LMB Overview

The LMb from Lectrosonics is a digital hybrid wireless bodypack transmitter with 75 MHz tuning bandwidth and 50 mW RF power. When paired with a mic and receiver, it can be used to capture audio for applications such as broadcast TV, theater, houses of worship, live stage, and more.

The LMb has several other features to help you obtain good clear audio, such as 25 or 100 kHz tuning steps, a compatibility mode to ensure analog receivers will work well with the transmitter, a microphone input allowing you to use mic or line level inputs. When combined with the optional MI39-type instrument interface cable (sold separately), the LMb transmitter can be used as a musical instrument transmitter for guitar, bass or portable keyboard.

In addition, the durable LMb transmitter is enclosed in machined-aluminum housing and is built with a fixed antenna. A multi-function toggle switch allows audio muting, power on/off, or talkback (when used with the SRb or Venue receivers). A LCD and membrane switch interface make the LMb transmitter easy to setup and simple to use. This transmitter operates on the B1 channel between 537.600 to 614.375 MHz.

Note: The dual envelope "soft" limiter provides good handling of transients using variable attack and release time constants. Once activated, the limiter compresses 30+ dB of transmitter input range into 4.5 dB of receiver output range, thus reducing the measured figure for SNR without limiting by 4.5 dB

If you can handle it’s larger size, the Lmb is the best 50mw transmitter in the market. Greatly exceeds similar priced sennheiser 500 series transmitters in range.

I would buy this product again and again

I bought 5 pieces of LMB-B1 and I am Happy with themclean audio As all Lectrosonics,Easy to useBatteries last for a long time. it is not good distance and Audio quality when used with UCR 201. i test them out it is better to used them with LR - 411- Srb or Venue with VRT, i use them with 401 it is good but not good distance. You should pay attention to the door of the batteries a little bit sensitive.

So long as your SRa receiver has the same frequency ranges as the LMb transmitter, the LMb transmitter will work with an SRa receiver.

It is possible to combine a Lectrosonics L-Series LMb (B1: 537 to 614 MHz) with a UCR 411A?
Asked by: jose
Yes, as long as is the same block. B1 will cover blocks 21 and 22 so a 411 on those 2 blocks will work with your LMb B1. It will also work with block 23 but block 23 is illegal in the US IDK where you are based but might be available in other countries.
