The Duopack from Lectrosonics is a rechargeable battery pack for an SR Series receiver which allows it to operate as a stand-alone device. It can be used in applications such as field production, broadcast TV, and more.
The Duopack features two lithium-polymer flat battery packs that can operate the receiver for up to 17 hours on a single charge. The control and connector panels on the unit include audio, power connector, mode switch and battery charging circuitry.
This rechargeable battery pack can be operated in three ways: When connected to an external DC power supply, with internal batteries installed or with the external DC power supply only. In addition, the Duopack is built with balanced audio outputs that are identical to those on the SR receiver. The power jack uses a threaded locking-type connector similar to those found on other Lectrosonics products.
The Duopack will accept any version of the SR series receivers including the 5P variants that have a TA5 audio output connector. The unit comes with a stand-off adapter to prevent excess pressure on the connectors if you are using it in a field production bag and wish to position the Duopack vertically.
The SRDB25 rear panel (not included) must be installed on the receiver to interface with the battery pack. This is the same rear panel used in the SRUNI adapter kit (sold separately).
