    PRO-77U 5.25" Hub/Reader with USB 3.1 Gen 1 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend and buy again. At the higher end of the internal card reader price scale but a solid performer once correctly installed. The documentation is a little thin as it comes with a two-port USB connector, one for the USB flash drive slots and the other for the card reader slots. With my installation, it made a difference which part of the supplied Y cable end you inserted into which, slot even though they are identical in appearance. To Atech's credit, their tech support was prompt and the problem was quickly diagnosed and resolved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Windows 10 Problems When I updated my desktop computer to Windows 10, my usb3.0 quit working. My usb2.0 however still worked. I updated all drivers and still no usb3.0. When I installed this Hub/Reader and the furnished driver, my usb3.0 started working fine. If you are having trouble with NEC/Renasus hardware/drivers this will fix your problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job So far I'm very happy with this reader. I use it mostly for CF cards. I find it deep enough that the cards slide in to the pins easily and I don't have to worry about pins bending as in other readers. The USB slots also work flawlessly and the unit is very fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice addition to computer Nice product. Installed without any problems and working seamlessly. Easy to install. Has all the necessary hardware and cables. Like having the additional USB 3 ports on the front of the computer. Has USB 3 connections to the motherboard for faster transfer speeds. No complaints. Glad I got this product. Nice addition to a computer that did not come with a multimedia card reader.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CF Card reader is the perfect depth. Rock solid buy! I popped this into my Hackintosh and it works like an absolute champ! No special drivers are needed for OSX- plugged it into a 20 pin USB that came off the back of a USB3 PCI-e card. If your Mac Pro doesn't have USB3 20 pin - pick up a PCI-e with one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great and looks good Easy to install, it fit nicely into an available 5.25 bay in the front of my tower computer. I can comment on its ability to read SD and micro SD cards - it makes good contact and copies files very quickly. It looks nice too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slow and not powered This looked perfect until I plugged it in. The card reader controller is not true USB 3.0 so SD card transfer to computer caps out at around 20mb/s (whereas my Transcend can reach the card's stated limit of 90+mb/s). The USB 3.0 hub is stated not to work unless it is connected to SATA power. Once connected, it still does not carry enough power to enable a single flash drive (some work and some don't have enough power), so forget about (multiple) external 2.5 hard drives. Too bad I no longer have the box...
