Lowel Tota-Light 2 Light Softbox Kit

Compact, rugged, and versatile, the broad throw Lowel Tota-light can be used with an umbrella or gel frame, or with diffusion as a soft key, fill, or backlight. With its adjustable reflectors, it can be a smooth and even background light, or point it toward the ceiling to raise the ambient (base) light level of a room. Tota is also widely used for photographic copy work.

When fitted with an EMD 750W / 120V bulb (available separately), the Tota-Light will emit a beam of 41 footcandles with the barndoors at normal position, and 34 footcandles with the barndoors at 180° position, from a distance of 10' (3m).

The Tota-Light is multi-voltage capable, and a choice of bulbs and plug adapters are available.

This Impact Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a black anodized aluminum support that rises to a height of 10' and folds down to 33.5" for storage and transport. The stand will handle up to 8.5 lb and is topped with a 5/8" stud with 1/4"-20 threads. It has a wide footprint of 38" for greater stability. Air cushioning gently lowers the light when making height adjustments to protect equipment and fingers.

The Luxbanx Duo Large Square Softbox from Impact is a versatile 40 x 40" light-shaping tool for strobe, LED, and fluorescent lights. It has a heat-resistant, textured-silver interior so you can use it with quartz lights up to 1500W. When using the Luxbanx Duo with strobes, attach the front diffuser and inner baffle for maximum softening of the output. When using it with hot lights, the inner baffle should be removed. Open face lights can be used as is, but it's recommended that you use the flood setting rather than spot on Fresnel sources. The softbox has four forward-opening vents to dissipate heat. Removing the front and inner diffuser essentially turns the Luxbanx Duo into a large reflector with maximum brightness and contrast.

For additional control, the versatile Luxbanx Duo has an optional fabric grid which mounts to the recessed lip of the softbox with touch-fasteners. The grid narrows and concentrates the light's beam forward, controlling spill light and adding directional control to the Luxbanx Duo's attributes. The ample surface area and square shape of the softbox make it ideal for large sets, groups, full length fashion, and large product work. Every Luxbanx comes with a carrying case and a spare Flex Rod. Separate purchase of a speed ring that accommodates your light's mount is required for use. The Luxbanx Speed Ring for Lowel Tota-light from Impact has 4 FlexRod holes that allow you to easily mount a medium, large or extra large square, rectangular or strip Luxbanx Duo softbox to a Lowel Tota-light. The ring will also fit most other brands of softbox. It includes a tilting heavy duty stand adapter with a 5/8" receiver that mounts directly on a stand.

The Impact Light Kit Bag #3 (Black) is a soft padded case designed to transport and protect a 2 monolight lighting kit. It has space to hold 2 monolights with reflectors, cables, umbrellas and light stands. It is carried by 2 overlapping carrying handles or the included shoulder strap.
