question

Can someone just please clearly tell me the input and output voltage of this if B&H doesn't filter the answers so I can buy a $20 AC adapter and not get ripped off by having to spend $100 on Panasonic's?
Asked by: Zach
Input voltage is 100-240V AC and output is 8.4V. Cheaper adapters with 8.4V are plentiful. BUT, you will not find a cheap adapter that has matching amperage. The DMW-AC10 is rated at an output of 2.5 amps. Cheap replacements have 2 amps or less. It still works, but I fear in the long term there may be damage either to the camera for lack of amps or to the adapter overheating while the camera tries to pull more amps than it's getting. I have the cheaper adapter, but I quit using it when being told there's a *slight* possibility of harming my GH5.

If power were interrupted the video file would not be closed. Most likely that video clip would be unreadable.

Since the G9 uses the same battery as the GH-4 ...

Since the G9 uses the same battery as the GH-4 and GH-5, will the DMWAC10 and CMW-DCC12 DC work with the G9?
Asked by: Van
I contacted Panasonic with your inquiry. According to Panasonic, the Panasonic AC adapter (VSK0815F, indicated as item #4 on page 9 of the Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 Mirrorless Camera's Basic Owner's Manual under Standard Accessories) which is included with the Panasonic DC-G9 purchase is the correct AC adapter designed for use to continuously power the DC-G9 Digital Camera. It is designed for use with the USB cable included with the camera, and it both powers the camera and charges the battery when connected to the USB port on the camera. Panasonic does not list the DMW-AC10 AC Adapter as compatible for use with the Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 Mirrorless Digital Camera.

question

I have a Panasonic Lumix GH4 camera and want to power it from an AC outlet. It looks like your DMW-AC10 AC Adapter and the Panasonic DMW-DCC12 DC Coupler may do this. However, both of these seem like they may have originally be intended for the GH3 camera and not the GH4. For example, the battery that goes in the GH4 provides 7.4 volts and the DMW-AC10 AC Adapter puts out 8.4 volts. So, will these two together work with the Panasonic GH4 camera?
Asked by: Anonymous
The DMW-AC10 is the AC adapter Panasonic has designed for the camera. Regardless of the output this is the proper adapter to be using with the camera according to them.

Why does description list only two compatible ...

Why does description list only two compatible cameras? Owners manual for my FZ80 says this is the model of adapter for my camera, but camera not listed here. Is there some different flavor of this adapter I should be looking for?
Asked by: Lee
Panasonic GH5/GH4 battery power is 7.2V, 1860mAh and this adapter converts ac to that speck , the FZ80 battery is 7.2V, 895mAh , 965mAh difference , your camera would not be compatible with this
