The SHAPE DSLR Kirk Neff Baseplate + Cage Over Size 2.0 is a baseplate and half-cage designed for a larger bodied DSLR camera, such as the Canon 1D C or Nikon D4, or a smaller DSLR camera with battery grip. The baseplate and half-cage are integrated into one unit and feature an adjustable top handle assembled on top, two 15mm rod blocks, and a standard V-lock quick-release system.
The quick release plate attaches to the bottom of your camera using a supplied 1/4"-20 screw and has adjustable rubber stoppers at the back to prevent your camera from twisting during operation. For alignment and balance adjustments, the V-lock delta adapter on the bottom of the quick-release plate can be also adjusted forward/backward via an adjustment screw, and the camera screw can be placed in a front or rear position using appropriate hex keys. All screw adjustments are made using included hex keys.
The top-handle rotates a full 360° at the press of a push-button on top. Two 15mm rod mount blocks are provided: one at the base of the unit and one at cage-level. The cage-level rod block allows 1/2" of vertical adjustment to properly align of a matte box and follow focus with your lens. Each rod block has a ratcheting lever to secured the rods into place. Two pairs of 15mm rods come included in 6" and 8" lengths.
The baseplate provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads for use on a tripod. The top handle and side cage feature 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for adding various camera accessories.

The SHAPE 2-Stage 4 x 4" Matte Box accepts lenses with up to a 100mm front outside diameter. It mounts to 15mm LWS rods and utilizes a swing-away design, which lets you perform quick lens changes without having to remove the matte box from your rods. You can adjust the height of the matte box in relation to the rods, which comes in handy when your lens center-to-rod center height is slightly off from the standard.
Two filter stages, one rotating, support the use of 4 x 4" filters. The matte box comes with a top flag (eyebrow), side flags, six matte box donuts in 65, 77, 85, 88, 100, and 105mm sizes, and an elastic donut.
The Shape Friction & Gear Follow-Focus Clic with Adjustable Marker is designed to attach onto standard 15mm rods of shoulder support rigs and other rigs. It attaches onto them via a clamp system, with simplicity. You would sit the Clic atop the rods, and then slide and close a Shape-patented lever clamp underneath the rods, and the lever locks and holds the Clic securely on the rods.
The Clic's focus mechanism also works with a clamp system, which when unlocked loosens the focus mechanism and allows it to be moved horizontally. It moves so to adjust itself closer to the lens. As it moves, its main feature -- the focus disk -- moves with it, and the focus disk is what reaches the lens. The focus disk can either be a friction wheel, as you see in the photo above, or a gear wheel. Both are present in this package, and replacing one with the other is accomplished with the help of the included Allen wrench. The friction wheel has a rubber outer surface that would press up against the lens, keep firm contact with it, and ensure accurate and slip-free focusing. The friction wheel would serve well for most lenses and is made of high-quality rubber that in cold temperatures won't get too cold to lose its grip. The gear wheel would accommodate those lenses that specifically have teeth on their focusing rings, and it would do so without any ring gears, by pressing its .8 pitch gears into the teeth.
The focus mechanism can be used on either the left or the right side of the lens, depending on the direction you place the Clic onto the rods in. And the focus disk itself can be used either in front of the focus mechanism, as you see in the photo above, or behind it, so to accommodate a wider variety of lens lengths. To move the disk to the rear, you would first just unscrew two screws from a cube-shaped gearbox that you can't see in the photo above because it sits behind the focus disk. Once the screws are off, the focus disk can just be flipped over for use with longer lens constructions.
In the photo above, the white mark disk that you see to the right of the red knob is made of highly resistant Delrin thermoplastic. It can be written on with non-permanent markers to mark up focus measurements for various predetermined shots, and it is interchangeable and thereby many predetermined measurements can be kept ready at your side. Additionally, a slide-adjustable marker made of aluminum is included to be attached beside the mark disk and to be moved and tightened into positions along the disk.
The Clic is CNC machined and made of lightweight anodized aluminum for strength and durability.
The black and red Telescopic Handles with ARRI Rosettes from SHAPE are left and right handgrips that can be attached to cameras and camera support hardware that has standard ARRI rosettes. Each arm features three points of articulation, combined with the approximately two inches of arm extension allows you to adjust the arms for your comfort. The arms attach to your camera or support via an ARRI compatible rosette with spring-loaded locking levers, which allow you to lock your arms in place without having a full 360° of rotation.
Shape's unique push-button articulating joint provides additional articulation near the rosette, while a second push-button articulation joint allows you to rotate and precisely position the rubber handgrips. A second spring-loaded locking lever along the arms allows you to extend the arms up to two inches and rotate the handgrips throughout 360°. The arms are indexed for extension and rotation, so you can quickly move between known setups.
The DSLR Kirk Neff Baseplate 2.0 from SHAPE is a 15mm rod baseplate designed for DSLR cameras that utilizes a standard V-lock quick-release system. The quick-release plate provides a 1/4"-20 threaded camera screw and has rubber stoppers at the back to prevent your camera from twisting during operation. The rubber stoppers can be adjusted and removed using the included hex key. For alignment and balance adjustments, the V-lock delta adapter on the bottom of the quick-release plate can be also adjusted forward/backward, and the camera screw can be placed in a front or rear position - using appropriate hex keys.
The baseplate itself features two 15mm rod ports with thumbscrews. It's design places the optical center of camera between the two rods and places the lens at a height suitable for use with a matte box. A pair of 8" aluminum rods come included.

- Adjustable and removable rubber stoppers on quick-release plate prevent camera for twisting
