Fenix's TK35 LED Flashlight features a cool white XM-L2 U2 LED that produces a wide range of beam intensities from a task-orientated low of 15 lumen to a darkness-piercing 900 lumen turbo mode that will light up large areas or rooms. Complementing the wide output range is a powerful 900 lumen disorientating strobe mode and a 125 lumen SOS emergency signal that balances beam intensity with battery conservation ensuring that distress signal will be visible without draining the battery too fast. Control of the outputs and modes is done via dual pushbuttons on the tailcap. The larger button provides access to the momentary and constant-on modes, while with the smaller one you select the output intensity and flashing modes. Having two button sizes with different tactile feels provides easy identification when it is dark or if you are wearing gloves.
Designed for a long life in the field, the TK35 features a lightweight and durable aluminum body with a type III hard anodized finish that offers an additional level of protection from scratches and corrosion. The light is impact-resistant, and O-ring sealed for an IPX8 rating making it submersible to a depth of 6.6'. Integrated circuitry provides protection from over-heating and prevents damage to the light if the batteries are installed incorrectly. The output is also digitally regulated for a consistent beam intensity throughout the life or charge of the battery. Adding to the light's versatility, it can run on different battery sizes and chemistries. It takes either two user-supplied 18650 rechargeable or four CR123 disposable batteries.
