The extra small Chimera Video Pro Plus Softbox is designed for use with hot lights up to 750 watts or with strobes. Because of its small size and silver interior, light quality will be spectral with a faster gradation from highlight to shadow areas.
The 16 x 22" size is portable and lightweight. It may be taken on location easily. The "Plus" designation of this softbox means you can remove the front face of the softbox if you like.
Chimera makes different strengths of diffusion material for front face applications. This softbox comes with one stop, 1/2, and 1/4 grid cloth diffusers. These allow more light transmission and less softening of the light.
This size is suitable for a one or two person portrait or interview.
Required speed (mounting) rings are available separately for many manufacturers' lights.
