    CAD D80 reviews

D80 Large Diaphragm Moving Coil Dynamic Microphone is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Surprise I bought this mic just to test it, because I couldn't find any reviews about it. I am really pleased. The sound on male voice is cristal clear, with very high output and one of the best rejections for a hypercardiod dynamic microphone that I've used, including 57's, old akg's i5's and such. The response starts on 50Hz so no rumble but quite nice low response for human voices with very full sound for those. On snare drum sounds like a 70's recording, on bass drum, it sounded really nice and full, but without the lowest end, very nice for a jazz or soul sound. Construction is robust and compact, comes with a pouch and a clip. It's lightweight and if you hang it fron the top of your guitar amp, the brand is going to look right side up.
