    Arqspin ARQB24IN110V reviews

24" Motorized Photography Turntable is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, has great potential with software development Build quality seems good, iOS software makes acquiring 360 spins quick, easy and painless, platform motor is noisy but should not be a problem for most users, my shipment did not include a power cord which i thought was unusual but it was easy to source at local store. would like a way to export 360 spins as animated GIFs for integration in powerpoint presentations which there seems to be no facility for. software includes facility to tag/label various points on the spinning object which is neat, unfortunately most browsers do not seem to support this. With a bit more software development this product has a lot of potential to be great. i would buy again and recommend to individuals that have small-medium sized products that would benefit from 360 product views.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Vibrates after very short usage, not suitable for video. I am a professional photographer/videographer, take good care of my equipment, never written a negative review before. The first turntable I bought had cracks in the table - sent it back. I had only used the second turntable for less than two hours total over several days, when it developed a rumble and a vibration that would last for about 7 seconds as the turntable rotated. Others have reported this same issue. This vibration was easily visible in the videos of the small products I was shooting, and as a result the product videos were not suitable for use. I contacted Arqspin, and they advised me to let the turntable run for 48 hours straight, which I did. That did not resolve the problem. They informed me that particle matter from the table can get stuck in the gear box, producing the vibration. Arqspin is primarily a software company, and sells this turntable so that you will use their software to market your work. In their software, they do have a system to help reduce the vibration, but it shouldn't be there in the first place. They are aware that their turntables have reliability issues, but they don't improve the design. To their credit, their customer service response and communication was timely, but it doesn't change the fact that this is an inferior product. Arqspin offered me a discount on the price of another turntable, which I appreciated, but I think it will have the same issues, didn't buy it. I hope they make changes to improve the quality of this turntable, and wish them the best.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I really wanted to love this, but reality set in I realize that Arqspin is a software company, but when I saw a large turntable that could hold a (small, 140 pound) human, I jumped on the opportunity to take this for a spin. I was grossly disappointed. Yes, it goes round and round. And while you can't adjust the speed, and you can't make it stop short of turning it off, it had great promise for me in the studio. I had my 140 pound model step on the platform carefully. And that where things went wrong. It couldn't handle his weight. It just sat there. If he stepped off, it turns. Step on, and at best it was intermittent. The machine groans. It whirls a little. But in the end it really is a giant death-wheeze of uselessness. I didn't bother to contact the manufacturer. I just wanted a product that does what it says it would out of the box. Was mine a bad egg? Perhaps. But my time (and money) is valuable. As a result, the 24 Arqspin earns a one star rating for failing to provide a working unit. If you buy one I truly hope you have better luck. Fudge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertised We use this for stringing together photography into a short gif. Works fine for what it is. Works clockwise and counter-clockwise.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problematic This item is problematic. The first one failed within the first week, and the replacement unit is now showing signs of failure. Although they are rated at 300 lb, apparently they are not to be used for models (people).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Works great. A barely visible center indicator would be a nice addition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Turntable. Turntable worked fine for both directions, and then had trouble with clockwise - stuttered and groaned - it was in use for a few hours pretty steady, so hoping with a rest it will work smoothly both directions. Shipping was a week late on delivery, but that had more to do with UPS, Holiday schedule and customs I think than B&H. I wish it had a remote but it works fine and looks nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Ordering this was such waste of my time. Right out of the box it couldn't even rotate a 135lb person. B&H needs to take a look at this product and review the description because this turntable cannot function while supporting even half of the specified limit of 300lbs. Do not buy this if you intend to rotate people on it.
