Tovatec IFL 660-R Reviews
Great underwater light
Just finished up several dives in the Florida Keys with this light. Pros: It works as advertised, and one charge easily was enough for almost 6 hours worth of diving. Cons: It's all about that rear cap on the light. 1) The first time opening it was painful as it was on extremely tight and required some tool leverage to open (and marring that cap appears to void the warranty. A little o-ring lube made this less painful. 2) The rear cap is encircled with multiple holes (look at the image for the item and you can see them) plus a center boss with a hole through it (not visible in the image) that is level height-wise with the outer ring on the cap). It's extremely difficult to get the provided wrist strap through one of the outer ring of holes and next to impossible to get it through the inner boss' hole--this was even worse when I replaced the strap with a split ring. You have to use one of the outer holes for a split ring. Not a show-stopper, but a royal pain. Tovatec should really take a second look at that rear cap design. All that said, I would definitely buy this light again, and probably will for a spare,
Tovatec IFL 660-R: Excellent torch for diving!
Probably one of the best economical torches for diving. Great visibility with a narrow beam. Great for day and night dives!
