PocketWizard 12018 Overview

This is a Pocket Wizard MP-1 16" straight Monoplug (1/4") to Miniphone Cable.

Although the Pocket Wizard system allows you to fire your strobe from your camera without a wire between the two, the receiver still needs a wire connection to your power pack or monolight.

This mono to mini cable works great with my new PocketWizard plus X 2 pack and my older Profoto Pro 7a 2400 power pack. A must have for every shot. No misfires.

Always need backup, this can stop a shoot dead in its tracks.

question

Does this cable work with Canon 600EX-RT speedlite?
Asked by: Anonymous
The PocketWizard MP-1 is designed for use with PocketWizards and strobe lights and will not be compatible with the Canon 600EX-RT Speedlite. Take a look at the Canon SR-N3 for a compatible cable: http://bhpho.to/1kfd7nr

question

dug out my old White Lightning Ultra 600's. Looks like they take a 1/4 stereo plug. I want to attach my PW Flex/Mini's to these lights. Is this the right cable?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, the PocketWizard MP-1 Miniphone to Monoplug (1/4 ) Cable - Straight - 16 would be compatible with the White Lightning Ultra 600 Monolight.

question

I need to connect my Phottix receiver to my Calumet Genesis 200 lights - will this chord work?
Asked by: Candace P.
No, that is not the correct cord. The old Calumet Genesis 200 monolight uses a 3.5mm sync connection. There are many different brands that can work. Some are listed below.

question

Is this the cable I need to connect a pocketwizard plus X to my profoto D1? Thanks.
Asked by: Anonymous
No. As the Profoto D1 Monolight uses the 1/8 (3.5mm) miniphone sync terminal, you would need the PocketWizard MM1 Miniphone to Miniphone Cable -12 , B&H # WICMM16, to connect the PocketWizard Plus X to the Profoto D1 Monolight.
