Hi Steve. This is a Rycote product, and cannot therefore be used with a Rde Blimp basket. The technology behind the Lyres originates with Rycote; however, we have licensed Rde to manufacture their own version, and so the Lyre that comes with and fits the VideoMic and similar/other products is designed and manufactured entirely by them. Rycote's official Lyres and suspensions are not incorporated: any versions you see on Rde products are made by them using their own materials and production methods under license, and fit using a different mechanism.
