I haven't been using it long, but it feels very sturdy. It's perfect for what I needed.

The C-Clamp by American DJ is a good entry level c-clamp if you want to hang something that is not overly heavy. The construction of metal is good quality and for the price a very decent product.

I actually use these to hang gongs off of 3/4 pipe and they work well for this, even for fairly heavy gongs. My 4 star rating is based on what you get for what you pay, the main body is thick and strong and I've never seen one bend and I've never had the threads strip out. I took 1 star off for some minor concerns, mainly they can be a little difficult to tighten/loosen to a high degree because the design of just a bare bolt end that puts pressure on the pipe and the small handle (a long lever would probably be easier?). Also the main tension bolt feels a little loose in the threads and a more precision tap would be nice but like I said above I've never had one strip out.
