Sapphire S10000 Overview

The FirePro S10000 Server Graphics Card (Active Cooling, 6GB) from Sapphire is a dual-GPU graphics card designed for server applications that require high GPU compute performance. By placing two GPUs in a single full length, full height, dual-slot form factor this card aims at maximizing asset utilization density in data centers. Given the general-purpose nature of stream processor-based graphics cards, and thanks to APIs, including OpenCL 1.2, DirectX 11.1, and a OpenGL 4.3, graphics computational power can now be leveraged for a wide variety of tasks apart from drawing display graphics, including cryptography, transcoding video and audio, rendering 3D models, analysis of complex data sets, and more.

This version of the FirePro S10000 features 6GB total of GDDR5 RAM over two 384-bit memory interfaces for a total memory bandwidth of up to 480 GB/s. This version also features active cooling, allowing it to drive up to five locally-connected displays concurrently. For local output it features four mini DisplayPort connectors - which can be adapted to many other types of connector, including DVI, DisplayPort, and HDMI, without scan conversion - and a single dual-link DVI output. The card also includes one active mini DisplayPort to dual-link DVI adapter.
