Nipro F-1 Overview

The F-1 Audio Embedder from Nipros is designed to embed four-channel analog audio into an HD-SDI signal. Zero to three frames delay can be adjusted for each channel. The embedder has a large audio bar meter for each channel, and a selectable audio insertion channel position (channels 1 to 4, 5 to 8, 9 to 12, or 13 to 16). Each channel has a built-in hyper limiter designed to minimize unexpected audio distortion or noise. The unit's Time Code (TC) output enables you to synchronize handheld camcorder and shoulder camcorder with Time Code. Audio input is made via XLR connectors, and its level can be adjusted (48V/-60 dB/-20 dB/+4 dB) via the front panel SW slide. HD-SDI input is made via two HD-SDI connectors. DC power can be supplied either from a V-mount Li-ion battery or from a power adapter (not included) via the unit's XLR 4-pin input.
