The Nipros LS-800 Optical Fiber Base Station is the hub for the LS-700 camera adapter (available separately). It simultaneously receives 2 channels of HD/SD-SDI video up to 1.2 miles away from the camera adapter via a single SMPTE fiber optic cable. It provides all essential inputs/outputs for 4K/3D camera systems, such as prompter video signal, return video (HD/SD- SDI with embedded audio), reference, 2-channel analog audio, 2-way intercom lines, Tally, TC, and Genlock video.
It also allows for remote control of camera functions via Sony or Panasonic RCUs and is compatible with remote control panels from most manufacturers. It features AC/DC operation for increased flexibility and a display window that shows connection status. Its compact 3RU half-rack size makes it suitable for space-constrained applications.
