The 2 Input HDBaseT Wall Plate Bundle from Aurora Multimedia allows you to extend VGA, HDMI, and USB 2.0 signals over Cat cable. It features a white DXW-2EU Wall Plate, DXE-CAT-RX2 Receiver with power supply, and a DXE-USB-H1 USB 2.0 Transmitter
The DXW-2EU is a 2 gang multi-input wall plate transmitter with HDBaseT Cat extension. It has one HDMI input and one VGA input, each with a 3.5mm audio jack for adding audio to DVI or VGA signals. The VGA input can convert component, S-Video, or composite video to HDMI via optional breakout cables. The HDMI signals are transmitted over a single Cat cable to the DXE-CAT-RX2 receiver. 1080p 60Hz HDMI signals can be extended 330' over one Cat5e/6/7 cable (48-bit), 500' over one Cat6 cable (24-bit), or up to 600' over one Cat6a cable (24-bit). It also supports Ultra HD (3840x2160) resolutions and HDMI 3D pass-through. Sources are selectable using the buttons on the wall plate, or remotely via RS-232 commands sent through the DXE-CAT-RX2 receiver.
In addition to the HDMI and VGA inputs, the wall plate has a LAN port for connection to your network without requiring a separate wall plate. It also has two USB ports for powering USB devices and transmitting USB 2.0 signals up to 230' at full 480 Mb/s over a single Cat5e/6 cable. Use the included DXE-USB-H1 USB 2.0 Transmitter to extend USB from the wall plate to a host computer. Please note that the DXE-USB-H1 requires shielded CAT cables; the use of non-shielded cables may damage the DXE-USB-H1 device.
The DXW-2EU wall plate can be powered remotely by the DXE-CAT-RX2 receiver over Ethernet. It can also receive IR signals via the sensor window on the front of the unit and pass them to the receiver for remote control of IR controllable devices. The receiver itself can be wall mounted using the included wall mount tabs, or rack mounted using the included brackets.
