question

I would like to use the Tomahawk Gimbal with a Manfrotto 685B monopod and attach a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary with my Canon 5D Mark 2. Do I need to order a mounting plate separately in order to attach the 150-600 to the Tomahawk gimbal? Thank you
Asked by: David
You would need a lens balance plate. I recommend the PX6 6 inch lens plate for that lens. It will get mounted to your lens foot on the Sigma. The lens collar would allow you to rotate your lens around from Portrait to Landscape.

question

May I know this gimbal fit for RRS lever release clamp?
Asked by: Jaan
Yes, the A/S L plate fitting on the base of the Tomahawk is compatible. If you mean, does the RRS lever clamp plate fit the screw clamp on the Tomahawk? The answer is yes, the screw clamp on the Tomahawk accommodates A/S plates from almost all sources (except perhaps some Novoflex plates).
