The titanium L-Bracket for Canon 1DX DSLR from ProMediaGear attaches to the 1DX's tripod socket and enables fast changes between portrait and landscape orientation without the need to readjust your head and completely recompose the shot. You can simply release the bracket from your Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamp (not included), and lock the bracket back in place on its vertical side. Using an L-bracket for vertical orientation shooting also facilitates a sturdier base of support than tilting the head to a 90° position.
This L-Bracket is designed as two separate pieces which enables the base plate to be used separately and also allows the vertical piece to be extended outward for better cable port access and for simplified centering of your image. Unrestricted access to the battery chamber of the 1DX is also provided by this bracket.
