Gigabyte P34G v2 Overview

The P34Gv2-CF2 14" Gaming Laptop Computer from Gigabyte is a Windows 8.1 computer that comes with advanced hardware for gaming, video rendering and more. The P34Gv2-CF2 gaming notebook features a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 860M graphics and a 128GB mSATA SSD that makes this possible. Since this notebook weighs 3.5 lbs and is less than 1" thick, you can take it with you when traveling, working, to LAN parties, and more.

The P34Gv2-CF2 gaming notebook runs on the 4th generation Haswell Intel Core 2.5 GHz i7-4710HQ processor which can offer speeds up to 3.5 GHz with SpeedStep Technology. The notebook features 8GB of RAM installed in one slot. The other slot can support another 8GB, which will further prevent the system from slowing down when running multiple programs at the same time. The 14" display and graphics processor, which utilizes 4GB of dedicated video memory, together allow for a resolution of 1920 x 1080 at higher frame refresh rates with more detailed graphics.

Two storage drives are installed in this notebook, a 128GB SSD and a 1TB hard drive. Among them, the 128GB mSATA-sized SSD offers the fastest access and load times for gaming, video editing, and more. The 1TB hard drive provides ample space to store photos, music, videos, and more. Also included with the notebook are an AC power cord and a lithium-polymer battery.

Quad-Core Haswell Intel Core i7 Performance
This notebook features a quad-core 4th generation Haswell Intel Core 2.5 GHz i7-4710HQ processor, with 6MB of L3 cache. The Haswell CPU uses less energy to give you a longer battery life when compared to previous Intel processors. With Intel Turbo Boost Technology, the maximum clock rate this processor can achieve is 3.5 GHz. Having four cores also allows the notebook to run multiple programs at the same time without slowing down the computer
Connectivity
When you need to access the Internet or a network you can connect using 802.11b/g/n wireless or the Gigabit LAN RJ-45 jack. For connecting to other wireless devices, such as a mouse or speakers, the computer supports Bluetooth 4.0
Backlit Keyboard
Work in a dark or dimly lit room is no problem because this keyboard lights up to clearly display the keys. When running on battery power, this keyboard automatically senses the light level to conserve energy
Ultimate Cooling
Supra-cool technology features two fans with dual heat pipes provide cooling for the CPU and GPU. The upgraded thermal design allows for better airflow circulation and heat conductivity while remaining slim.
