Gigabyte P35Wv2-CF2 Overview

The P35Wv2-CF2 15.6" Gaming Laptop Computer from Gigabyte can be used for gaming, video rendering, graphic design, and more. What makes this well-suited for these functions are the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M Graphics, Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM memory, and SSD. The 4th generation Intel Core i7-4710HQ processor runs at 2.5 GHz speeds and can run up to 3.5 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0.

The 15.6" IPS screen has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and 300 nits brightness. It also features 170-degree wide viewing angles so you can watch a movie with a friend without any deterioration of the image while viewing from the side. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M graphics card with 6GB of dedicated video memory gives you crisp graphics and smooth frame rates for running 3D and 2D applications. NVIDIA also uses Optimus technology that automatically transitions between NVIDIA graphics and integrated Intel HD 4600 graphics seamlessly in the background. This switching prioritizes performance and battery life depending on the application.

Three storage drives are installed in this notebook: two 128GB SSDs and a 1TB hard drive. The 128GB mSATA-sized SSDs offer the fastest access and load times for gaming, video editing, and more. For even faster access, the two SSDs can be software configured in RAID 0 to offer read and write times of 1000MB/s and 850MB/s. The 1TB hard drive provides ample space to store photos, music, videos, and more. Included with the notebook are an AC power cord and a Lithium-Polymer battery.

Quad-Core Haswell Intel Core i7 Performance
This notebook features a quad-core 4th generation Haswell Intel Core 2.5 GHz i7-4710HQ processor, with 6MB of L3 cache. Haswell CPUs uses less energy to give you a longer battery life when compared to previous Intel processors. With Intel Turbo Boost Technology, the maximum clock rate this processor can achieve is 3.5 GHz. Having four cores also allows the notebook to run multiple programs at the same time without slowing down the computer
Removable Blu-ray Rewritable Drive
Use this optical drive to back up files, images, music, and more onto CD , DVD, and Blu-ray. You can also listen to music CDs, install software, and watch Blu-ray and DVD movies. This drive can be swapped out with an optional storage drive, or a weight saver module for a lighter notebook
Mini DisplayPort Out
Connecting to an external display using the mini DisplayPort port will offer you up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz. Connecting a display that supports 4K will offer you more details when viewing movies, games, and more

Built into the P35Wv2-CF2 gaming notebook are two speakers and a subwoofer which deliver full-range sound for movies, music, and gaming.
