This holders are a perfect fit, and hold 4 9V batteries very securely. You can put the batteries in either direction, so I keep my spent batteries upside down to remind me to replace or recharge.
Unlike cheaper plastic containers, these take up less space, don't have weak plastic hinges that wear out, and protect the terminals and batteries from shorting out.
