DSPTCH Heavy Camera Sling Strap Reviews
Just what I was looking for

As a larger person, the standard camera strap did not afford the flexibility to position my camera as needed. This longer strap allows me to adjust the length to carry the camera where it is comfortable for me. Construction seems to be quite sturdy for my Canon 6DmII.
Worth It

I own five of these straps for my many cameras. These were purchased at the time I bought each camera. These have been on numerous hikes through the Sierra and vacations. Each looks as good as the day it was purchased--no fading or tears. The plastic parts are very durable. Wearing these out will take time. My only gripe is the selections of colors. The red and camouflage straps are too conspicuous for street photography.

question
Do you sell replacement quick releases?
Unfortunately we do not sell replacement quick releases to this particular model. The manufacturer would carry those quick releases. Here is a link to the quick releases to this strap: http://bhpho.to/1x6ZQFr

question
how durable is this? how much weight can this truly hold? i have a 7Dmk2 with battery grip and a 200-500mm telephoto on the front of it (and planning on replacing that lens with a 100-400L IS ii + 1.4x tc soon). do i have anything to worry about if i strap that rig to this?
Hi, you've got 200-500 above, so I'm not sure if you mean the 200-400F4 perhaps? if you do , then it means 8 pounds of lens and another 5 or so of camera, which is probably getting to the upper limit for a normal sling , and I would b e thinking of a black rapid or similar type sling with a screw fitting on to the tripod mount, might be a better option. For your second choice of lens that you mentioned the 100-400 ii USM , which is only half the weight, then I think that this would be ok, as it not much more that than my Nikon plus 70-200 which I have used with the sling quite satisfactorily. In some respects the main issue with your 200-400 lens will be for a padded strap to spread the weight on your shoulder a bit more. Good luck

question
Do the strap fit on a Fujifilm X-T1 ?? I wonder if it fits the tiny metal loop on the X-T1
This strap will work with FUJIFILM bodies using either the triangular ringlets provided with the camera bodies or one of the many titanium rings available on Amazon. Loop the ends of this strap through the rings after they are attached to the camera body.

question
For anyone who owns the DSPTCH Heavy sling: has anyone had to buy the optional shoulder pad due to the sling being uncomfortable? I see it as an option on DSPTCH's website. Thanks.
Hi Monica,I use the DSPTCH sling just as it is, I have not needed the optional shoulder strap.I hope this helps. Thanks, Mike
