I've always felt like these kinds of items could easily have been included with a product, but market gouging takes advantage of the need for them. Especially the power supply. I could have matched and bought generic a lot cheaper but when I have a brand new product like the H5 I want to be sure to be in the right with everything should I have a warranty need. That said...it all works like it's supposed to. A dead cat is a dead cat. A power supply is a power supply. The remote? (which is what I purchased this for mostly as a performing musician needing fast access to start/stop/record etc...it does the job. Only thing with the remote...the connecting wire is very, very thin and flimsy. An accidental pulling away from the H5 could easily snap the cord in two. My positioning doesn't worry me so much, but if I were using out in the field this would be a concern. There is another working remote for the H5 here on B&H that appears to have a bit more solid and thicker connecting cord. And it's only 24.95. I figured I could use the power supply so went ahead with this purchase. But again....remote? I get it.....but the power supply....come on Zoom....include it with the unit.
