The stand does what it's supposed to, though it has a bit less range and maneuverability than I was expecting. If you're planning to really extend it out, you might want to put something on the feet to hold it in place. The low rating is because the product was clearly used before, despite being marked as new. There's residue of a sticker on the back of it, the included warranty cards and promotional materials are scratched, etc. If this was something more important than a microphone stand, I would be a bit annoyed.
PERFECT for what I need. The height the sturdiness the weight is exactly what I was looking for. It was delivered sooner than expected! I love dealing with B&H. They NEVER disappoint me.
