The red Slidestrap Camera Strap from VU Equipment is a cross-body camera strap and mounting plate that holds your camera securely against your body as you move around, yet allows it to slide up the strap to eye-level when you want to take a photo. The cotton shoulder strap sits comfortably against your body while the nylon section provides a strong sling for the camera and mounting plate to slide along.
Adjustable to suit different body types, the Slidestrap can also be positioned to hold the camera on your side or on your front with the lens pointing towards the ground or skyward, depending on how you attach the mounting plate. The anodized aluminum mounting plate contains a standard 1/4"-20 thumbscrew which attaches the strap to the tripod mount on your camera. The slot in the mounting plate allows adjustment to suit different cameras or orientations of the plate while the rubber mat acts as a compression washer to stop your camera from slipping.
