Compact Light Aluminum Tripod (Red) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and very compact tripod This was the most compact tripod I could find that would support a DSLR with a kit lens. Based on use, I believe it could support a DSLR with a heavier lens as well (even a little beyond the stated 3.3 lbs capacity). I was looking at their compact monopod but the dimensions of the tripod is essentially the same except wider obviously so I decided the little extra weight would be worth not having to have both a monopod and tripod. The screw head works awesome. That was probably my favorite feature. Makes screwing on the camera almost as fast as a sliding clamp mount. The tripod can fit in the side water bottle pocket (if you have side straps to secure the top part) of a daypack or hiking backpack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light yet STRONG and pleasant to WORK WITH Since I am approaching 70 ..I am down sizing a lot lately. No more big heavy monstrous tripods - BUT YOU STILL NEED you not??? Well..this is the ticket! Collapsed it is super for macro photography - fully extended it remains stable and strong (yes up to 3-1/2 lbs) which works for me. So now - those times GOSH..wish I had a tripod with me...I DO I DO. This is a gotta have tripod! that it has a screw on mounting which my previous manfrotto DID not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice lightweight tripod I was unsure about whether or not this tripod would support my Sony a7ii with the huge 14mm Rokinon lens that I'm using, but it did not disappoint. I needed something lightweight and small for backpacking and this is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tripod for Travel This product is great for travel. I purchased it to use with a Olympus OMD E5 for which it is well suited. I tried my Nikon D7000 with a telephoto lens and it was not as stable. It would work with a small prime and retain appropriate stability. The Olympus works great and I especially like the clamp style leg locks. The only issue that I might see with the clamps in the future is their tension is not able to be adjusted. Other than that it is excellent. The small ball head works fluidly and is precise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly rigid for such a light tripod I bought this this tripod for macro work using a small Olympus macro lens and for short day hiking trips, but to my surprise, it supports my OMD M-1 with my heavy 40-150 zoom lens mounted. Amazing! I gave it four stars because it's new. Time may tell a different story.
