Works fine
I use the product to back up files from our new MacBook Air. The transfer rate is very fast. The one piece design is great.
Probably got a lemon, as Verbatim only makes top of the line products, but mine failed to be recognized by the computer in only 4 months. Also, the internal stop that keeps the socket exposed for insertion into the computer, was not strong enough and in my new Dell laptop you would have to hold the grey plastic middle part, to insure it did not retract as you inserted it into the USB drive.

Use this to backup my memory cards from my digital camera
I receive an error message when I try using it with my USB 3 port. Other USB 3 devices work including a Passport external hard drive. It does work with a USB 2 port but so do other flash drives which cost much less.
It's finicky to push out the connector from the housing.
I had hoped to use this with my audio recorder but it is not fast enough.
