The D4 Digicharger Battery Charger from Nitecore is compatible with almost every type and size of cylindrical rechargeable battery and is equipped with individual bays to simultaneously charge four batteries, even ones of different size and capacity. It automatically detects the chemistry of each battery installed and determines the specific needs and requirements of each to optimize charging. When using smaller low-capacity batteries, such as AA or 10440, or LiFePO4-type batteries the charger can be manually set to ensure proper charging without overheating or overcharging. An intuitive LCD screen provides real-time feedback on the batteries including: charging status, available battery power, remaining charging time, and charging mode. To protect the batteries, specialized circuitry helps to prevent over-heating and over-charging, and if a battery is installed incorrectly an error message is displayed and the charging current is cut to that specific bay.
