The Echo Express SEL 10 Gigabit Ethernet Thunderbolt 2 Adapter from Sonnet bundles an Echo Express SEL Thunderbolt 2 Expansion Chassis with a Presto 10GbE PCIe card and a 1-port Fibre SFP+ transceiver, providing you a near plug and play solution for adding 10GbE connectivity. This adapter measures 4" wide by 8.4" long by 2.8" tall. A temperature-controlled, variable-speed fan keeps the adapter running cool and quiet. In addition, the Thunderbolt 2 ports on the back panel of the chassis support daisy chaining of up to six devices, to a single port on the host computer. This adapter features 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) this high speed wired networking standard offers ten times the performance of Gigabit Ethernet.
