The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom houses a 4.8" Super AMOLED screen, which is designed to produce robust images and color depth. The screen's 1280 x 720 resolution enables you to view detailed high-definition content. For photo capturing and video chatting, this smartphone features a 2-megapixel front camera and 20.7-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor camera. The rear camera also records full HD 1080p video. The camera's 1/2.3" sensor and Xenon flash will allow you capture detailed images in low-light situations. A retractable 10x optical zoom lens is integrated into the camera's body with a 24-240mm equivalent, which allows you to better-see far away objects.

The Galaxy S5 Zoom has Bluetooth 4.0 built-in for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, and dual-band Wi-Fi for high-speed Internet connectivity. Integrated Wi-Fi Direct and NFC give you the ability to connect-to compatible devices for wirelessly sharing content like photos and music. GPS with GLONASS is also onboard for using Google Location and Maps services. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom has a removable 2430mAh battery that can deliver up to 7 hours of network web browsing time, and up to 11 hours of video playback.

GSM / 3.5G HSPA+ Wireless Connectivity
This phone is designed to work on select GSM networks and is 3.5G HSPA+ capable. HSPA+ is a cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds much faster than standard 3G; in some cases, HSPA+ comes close to 4G LTE speeds, but is more widely available than LTE because it uses 3G networks. With an HSPA+ connection, this phone should have no problem streaming video, downloading apps, uploading photos, or anything else that requires a high speed data connection. The phone is also backwards compatible with 2G data networks for instances when you can't get an HSPA+ signal. In addition to cellular wireless, this phone also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Android operating system features a user-friendly interface, and is designed for intuitive multi-touch navigation. You can customize your home screen with frequently used apps and widgets, as well as create folders and shortcuts to often used items like system settings and bookmarked webpages. With the Android operating system, you will also have access to the Google Play Store, which offers a vast library of apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. And with native mass storage support, you can have your Android device interface with a computer for file management and content sharing.

  • Zoom: The retracting 10x optical zoom let's you get closer to far away objects. It's also designed to be easy to use with Pinch Zoom and one-touch Quick Zoom.
  • Flash: The Galaxy S5 Zoom uses a Xenon Flash, which is brighter and travels further than LEDs. It also gives you natural tones, and has a strobe that stops the action, so you can capture your important shots.
  • Pro Suggest: Using advanced algorithms, Pro Suggest analyzes your subject through the lens. From gender to light and color, Pro Suggest detects your scene aspects and gives you 5 optimized setting suggestions.
  • Self Portraits: Just touch the screen to set where you want to appear in the photo, then turn it around and wait for the beep. It even gives you three shots to choose from.
  • Light Control: Separate your AF and AE and control tricky backlit scenes. A quick touch sets your focus zone. Another touch sets the exposure, allowing you to capture the shot you want with the precise balance of light and clarity.
  • Focus: With the Galaxy S5 Zoom's object tracking feature, capturing subjects can be done easily. Just touch your subject on the screen and the AF follows it automatically.
  • Instant Camera Mode: You can go from the lock screen to camera mode with a single touch, or press the volume and power buttons together for just 0.3 seconds.
  • Camera Studio 2.0: Camera Studio 2.0 is a hub for photo apps. You can review, edit, and share photos with ease.
