    LG LGV400.AUSABK reviews

    8GB G Pad 7.0" Wi-Fi Tablet (Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy another one! Great tablet for the price! If you are in the market for a budget tablet, then look no further! This tablet has it all: built in IR remote blaster, Quad-Core processor, beautiful IPS display, 4000 mAh battery, nice build quality, dual rear speakers, and more. For everyday needs, this does the job. I do a lot of e-mailing and web surfing and this does everything my phone and computer could do. I really like the battery life, it lasts 2-3 days! The screen is stunning and viewing angles are great. Highly recommended for those who would want a tablet for light use such as reading, e-mailing, playing a few games, surfing the web, etc. Come and experience for yourself!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Tablet For The Price! Been looking for a tablet for a few months. As much as I wanted a more expensive tablet with a higher resolution screen, I just couldn't justify the price for my needs. After checking out this LG and also similar 7 tablets from Samsung & ASUS, this LG was the clear winner! First off, the screen is very crisp and easy to see at all angles. Keep in mind that even though this isn't the highest resolution screen on the market, it is still HD and more than enough resolution for a 7 screen. Honestly, putting a higher resolution screen on a tablet this size is a waste. You would be hard pressed to see the difference. Compared to the other tablets I looked at, this one seemed to operate the best. By that I mean there is no lag when jumping from page to page and there is no lag when turning from vertical to horizontal. The Samsung had bad lag in this area even though it is said to have a bit more RAM. Not a tone of unneeded apps pre-installed either. And what apps are there are actually useful. An absolute bargain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Budget Option For Light Use I use this mainly for Wi-Fi controls on my RED Dragon and DJI Ronin. Other than that, quickly checking emails, etc on set. So in that regard, it works great for the light uses I put it through. Operating system is very stable, doesn't come over-loaded with apps, easy to customize, and holds a Bluetooth connection nicely. Scrolling through screens and opening apps is very smooth and quick. Haven't noticed any lag. Overall, for what I use it for, I love the form factor/size and performance, and the price point was pretty nice as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little tablet! Not the fastest, nor the most versatile. But, it's a great bang for your buck, if you're in the market for a sweet little starter tablet. One that you can throw around and slip in your back pocket without the same anxiety as you would with a $ tablet. LG's version of the Swype keyboard is a little clunky, and annoying, not nearly as smooth and versatile as Samsung's. But, other than that, if you're looking for a purely functional tablet w/o all the pretty bells and whistles...then this bad boy is a contender!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Balanced and well thought out 7 tablet. I have a technical services business and use my tablet for various tasks throughout the day. I have and use a Windows 7 notebook for some tasks but the Android tablet is a much more convenient tool for much of what I do. Such tasks as mapping or surveying a WiFi installation, estimating installation parameters like distance and surface area and recalling technical and contact information about products, clients and vendors (My LG phone does not have enough visual real estate to help me do the varied tasks). I originally purchased an 8 tablet for the surface area and the stylus but it was a little to large to be convenient (compact and easy to handle) and I found the 7 to be just the right size physically (I don't have to zoom or expand the object to be able to get what I need. I especially like the LG interface which gives me easy tap access and helps extend the battery life to days (or even a week depending on use). I run a wide range of applications and all seem to work well in the Android 5.x environment. This device has a dual band radio which makes it especially useful in setting up WiFi. With the expandable mSD slot and the WiFi server capabilities I can use it as a mini NAS for other equipment on the network. I already mentioned one of the most endearing features but it is worth mentioning again (LG's tap to wake feature is GREAT! - no fussing with buttons to wakeup the device). I use many of the Android GOOGLE services and I am sure the device will work well for Video conferencing with the 1.3MP face camera (although I would prefer a 2MP and 5MP camera combination over the 1.3 and 3.15 cameras on this device). The only negatives might be the absence of a more robust GPS antenna system for maps and location information and a possible magnetic sensor for a compass but at this price point I think it is a great device. One last comment: if you are a gamer, use You Tube or listen to music you might look for something different.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good. I was a little spoiled because my last tablet was a Hisense Sero Pro 7 and it was amazing. It started to get really slow so it was time for a new one. I stick with budget priced tablets since I basically just use them for fun stuff, nothing heavy duty. I would rather invest my money in Apple computers. I also do dog rescue and wouldn't want to feel horrible if an iPad got eaten. I always do my research but it was a little rough this time as nothing jumped out like the Hisense did way back when. I decided on the LG since I have an LG phone that I have been happy with. Basically, it's a nice little tablet that gets the job done. It didn't come with a lot of the basic preloaded apps, which I missed, and it's also a tad slower than my Sero Pro 7 was in the beginning. It also lacks a few other little features the Sero had but I can deal with it. I did not get the Hisense 8 because the reviews were not as good as the 7 and they had taken away some of those extra features as well. So, for now, battery life is good and it does what it needs to. I just knew I wouldn't find another budget tablet I liked as much as the Sero Pro 7.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value It does everything I expected it to do and is a great value for the $. I use it mostly for email and for browsing the internet. I don't use it for entertainment. I prefer to have specific devices for specific tasks; phone/texting, computing, email/browsing.
