Clamp broken on first outing. I got to attach my phone to my tripod leg to use with TriggerTrap to control my camera. I accidentally folder the tripod legs together with clamp still on and it snapped. Some super glue get it fixed and back in service, but I am now very careful to not over tighten it and to take it off before I move the tripod.

Good value for its price

A good value and versatile mount. Of course, don't expect smooth footage if mounted on your bicycle, even with sw image stabilization from gopro.

I bought this mount to attach my phone to my tripod to use as a cable release (Triggertrap is a GREAT app). It mounted up easy enough and looked like it was going to work great. That was until I closed up the tripod legs and as the legs came together clamp on the leg snapped in two (the piece between the 2 thumb screws in the picture). Some gaff tape got me through the star lines shoot that night (always keep a role in your bag, it will a save a shoot).
