Snypex's black 8x42 Infinio Focus-Free Binocular features a focus-free design that gets you viewing faster without wasting precious time trying to find and manipulate a focus wheel. Anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics reduce light loss and maximize the amount of light that reaches your eyes. Designed for long-term comfortable use, the housing is made of a lightweight and durable fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate housing with an open-bridge design to further reduce the weight, while providing a large holding surface. The housing's exterior is covered with a rubber armor that protects the binocular from impacts and provides a secure non-slip grip. Twist-up eyecups allow you to customize the eye relief and can be used with or without eye wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great binos I like the auto focus of these binos. However, they do not focus on anything under about 30 yards. I did not buy these to look at stuff under 30 yards though so they work for my purpose. I bought these for hunting, and they are excellent in low light like most 8x42. I think the quality is excellent and most 8x42 binos are 2,3 or 4x the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, easy to use binoculars I purchased these for my mother, who occasionally uses binoculars to look at wildlife. The focusing knob on her last set stopped working. I would give these a perfect score of 5 stars, but there are really no instructions so I gave them 4 stars (it's really like 95 out of 100 for a score). I received an email that these were on sale, so that started me thinking about them. I purchased them on sale, which added to the value, but they are still a value at the regular price. A good pair of binoculars can easily cost $500 or way more (several thousand dollars) for extreme quality and options. I tried to review them online before I purchased them, but I only found one review for Snypex, and it was for a different (but similar) set of binoculars. However, the review was positive so I took a chance. As I mentioned, there were very little instructions (almost nothing). They didn't even indicate how to fasten the strap (I know that seems silly, but I believe in having good instructions). I was wondering how the automatic focus would work (how could it with different depths of view?). And I was all set to adjust the diopter (the knob that allows you to make adjustments for the difference in vision with each eye), but found that there was no diopter! Wow! So, you basically just unscrew out each eyepiece and adjust the width for your eye width and look through them. That's it. They are so easy to use that I guess they do not need instructions. And the quality is amazing for a binocular in this price range. My brother brought out his set (another brand that he paid a whole lot more for) and we really couldn't tell the difference in image quality. There was only a slight difference in magnification because his are 10 X 42 instead of 8 X 42. But this pair had auto-focus (we still wonder how they do that)! These do come with a moderate quality case. For ease of use and image quality, I would give these 10 out of 10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Binnoculars Bought these binoculars for a great price. They have clear optics at all distances except for close objects. My wife really likes to use them for looking at eagles.
