The BLUESHAPE BUBBLEPACK 65 Wh Lithium-Ion Battery Pack provides several flexible rigging options for equipping your camera with a larger capacity power solution. It features a 65 Wh capacity and is intended for small to medium-sized productions. The rigging options revolve around a rail plate attached on top of the battery and a 1/4"-20 thread available on the bottom. A mini camera plate is included to be attached on the bottom of your camera, cage, or various rod clamps, and the BUBBLEPACK simply slides onto this plate via the rail plate. The 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom of the BUBBLEPACK allows you to mount the battery along with your camera or rig on a tripod, securely with up to 7 lb of load. A quick release handle on the side of the rail plate lets you slide the BUBBLEPACK off.

The BUBBLEPACK features two standard 14.8V nominal P-Tap outputs and two proprietary B-Tap outputs offering user selectable voltages of 8.4V and 11.1V output. Depending on your camera's voltage, you can use either the standard or proprietary connectors using an appropriate cable. One B-Tap to raw port cable is included and can be configured with the connector of your choice. The unused connectors can be used to power accessories at the same time as the camera. The BUBBLEPACK can be charged in approximately two hours using an optional P-Tap to 3-prong BLUESHAPE Charger for BUBBLEPACK. The BUBBLEPACK features a 4 LED gauge that displays remaining battery life.

An optional BLUESHAPE V-Bracket Adapter or Belt-Mount Adapter can also be used for attaching the BUBBLEPACK to a V-mount plate or wearing it around your waist. A large selection of BLUESHAPE P-Tap adapter cables is also optionally available for connecting the BUBBLEPACK to your camera.

BUBBLEPACK 65 Wh Lithium-Ion Battery Pack is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK There is good and bad about these batteries. I like the form factor. They are smaller than an average V mount battery pack. The battery will automatically cut out when it reaches 13V (or something thereabouts). It does take, as stated in the manual, 3 hours to re-charge a depleted battery. I mount the battery onto the iris rods with a rod clamp. Putting it under the camera isn't so good an idea (see bellow.) The things that need improvement: The LED power status indicator doesn't work well. The button needs to be pressed numerous times for the status to show up, and it's not reliable. On occasion after having checked the status the LED's will suddenly blink a few minutes later. They are also too bright! I have a monitor connected that tells me what the voltage is, which is a reliable way to monitor the battery. The aluminum construction looks very solid, but that's deceiving. In the manual they mount a BM URSA Mini onto the battery. No idea why anyone would do that, but it sure isn't a good idea. This is a battery solution for a DSLR, but not for mounting the DSLR onto the battery. It's not solid enough a construction to avoid flex. If you'd have a DSLR mounted on top of the battery and use a follow focus, you'd definitely push the lens up and down with your focus. There is only one 1/4-20 mount on the plate and on the bottom of the battery. The machined aluminum also leaves things to be desired. Trying to open the lever that holds the release plate in place is a challenge. Eventually it came loose, but already on the third try a small piece of plastic broke off. The plate itself also doesn't slide smoothly into the dovetail. It's more of a chore that takes a lot of wiggling, which is another reason why this won't work under a camera. Putting it onto a rod clamp works perfectly fine and I can recommend it that way . It will run a Sony A7sii (not recording), and a continuously 4K recording Video Devices 5 Monitor for ca. 2.25 hours.
