The WSU comes in a small cardboard box. Is there any DIY solution to keeping it fluffy while travelling to location?
The Zoom WSU-1 wind muff should stay fluffy when it's stored. If the hair seems to have flattened, you could simply shake it out and use your fingers to fluff it back up. It it gets wet and the hair flattens, let it air dry completely and then, if needed, use a soft brush or toothbrush to make it fluffy again.

No, the Zoom WSU-1 Hairy Windscreen is intended for use with Zoom recorders. As a better option, use the Tascam WS-11 -Windscreen for DR Series Handheld Recorders (B&H # TAWS11). The spacing for the mics differs on Tascam and Zoom models.

Hello, we bought this for my son for Christmas. I asked him the question and he says he does not believe you could put this wind sock over top of the existing H5 wind socks. Hope this helps. RegardsGlenn
