if your in Europe and you want to shoot a feature is it better to film at 24fps than 23.97?
In Europe, you would shoot with the movie standard accepted there which is 25FPS.

Does the DPAF hardware upgrade include the ability to use AI servo face detection? And does it include a touch-screen on which you can set the focus points (like the 5D mk iv)?
The Dual Pixel CMOS AF on the C300 will allow for AI face detection, if used with STM lenses. The STM lenses offer compatibility with DPAF. However the C300 does not have a touch screen monitor.

Is shows the box contains the TB-1 Tripod Adaptor Base, however, it says: he Canon TB-1 Tripod Adaptor Base is compatible with the Canon C100, XF305, and XF300 professional camcorders and supports both 3/8 and 1/4 tripod screws. So why is this plate in the box if its not compatible with the C300? The reason why I ask is, my c300 I bought used did not come a plate and Im looking for a plate to attach because I have a Sachtler tripod and my camera sits front heavy..thank you
That is weird they took that off the camera, it's almost built into the camera on the bottom.

i also have a red scarlet camera..will this camera match up well with it???
If you need precise matching and keeping your workflow as simple as possible, you use two identical cameras. There is no getting around it. The RED Scarlet and the C300 have a different response to light and the C300 is cleaner at the higher ISO's. Finally, these are meant for different markets. The RED is most comfortable in narrative movie making while the C300's playground is bread and butter video productions for business clients who need a quick turn around.

what is the maximum hours of recording for this camera??what I mean is like the canon still cameras where there is a limit to use??
You probably had your question answered by now, but there are 2 CF card slots, so depends on the size of your cards and battery life. It's not like the 5D where you can only record video for approx. 30 min and then it stops.

what is the warranty and service like on this camera???also when working in Europe will the camera still be under warranty and will I be able to have it serviced????
The warranty for most items sold by B&H are for the USA only. That is true for the C300 as well. If you intend to have the camera in an country other than the USA, we encourage you to purchase a Square Trade protection plan. Once you do, anytime, anywhere in the world you have an issue, you contact Square Trade and they will arrange service or even an replacement. I can say that Square Trade is a superb deal that no one seems to criticize. If you click Add To Cart, the next window or the cart page will show you available Square Trade options.

Does this kit come with a battery and power supply?
It does... One battery. I ended up buying 3 more and have never run out of power... Usually 2 batteries per work day.Cheers!-Chris
