The perfect addition to any tele foot, WITH or without ARCA style clamp groove. Most tele foot, even with OEM ARCA grooves, need a LONGER foot for hand carry and a 1/4+ more space between the foot and Tele body. THIS solves the OEM failed design. Go for it!

What are the three holes on the one end for? Can Peak Design Anchor Links be used in them or would they get stripped against the edges?
According to the manufacturer, the three unthreaded holes opposite the twin backstop flange on the Desmond DPL-115 Long Lens Quick Release Plate (115mm) have no function other than to make the lens plate a little lighter in overall weight. While not designed for this usage, depending on the length of your lens' tripod collar's base, the Peak Design AL-4 Anchor Links may be used in one of the three holes.

If you are referring to the Slik 700DX Pro 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head that is included with the tripod in the two kits we carry, then no, the Desmond DPL-115 Long Lens Quick Release Plate (115mm) is not compatible as the Slik 700DX Pro 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head is not Arca-compatible; the Slik 700DX Pro 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head only uses the proprietary Slik 618-335 Quick Release Plate, B&H # SLQR.25PB800.
