I finally found a base that is steady! I purchased this one but received the metal flatter looking one which is happy mistake since it's solid (metal not cheap plastic) and gets rid of the wobble that other bases don't resolve.

It looks like this has a 3/16 male screw on the top. Can it be used with a Benro A38FD monopod? How long are the legs on this?
It is 3/8" screw on top. The legs are about 10.5" long. Yes, the Benro A38FD can attach to this.
