The Helix is a powered stabilizer that features a modular design with a removable platform. The Helix balances around the optical center of your camera, providing less stress on the system and your camera's image stabilization system.
The flat bottom design of the Helix allows you to place it down on a flat surface without requiring a stand mount or other support. The 1-axis Helix is designed to stabilize your camera in the tilt axis and can be mounted to third party stabilizing systems if you wish. The bottom of the Helix features a dovetail plate that is compatible with an optional OConnor 1030 fluid head, and it features three 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes.
