This Helix is built from aluminum, which provides an excellent balance between weight and strength. The Helix is a powered stabilizer that features a modular design with a removable platform for each of the three axes: roll, pan, and tilt. The modular design allows you to quickly turn your three-axis stabilizer into a one-axis stabilizer. This unit includes the 4th axis, which allows you to mount the Helix on a third party balancing system, such as a Steadicam, or tripod, while retaining full function of the Helix's 3 Axes. An optional spacer is required for mounting the stabilizer to a vest/arm-type stabilizer.
