Elmo BOXi T-350 Overview

Weighing in at 1.1 pounds, the BOXi T-350 300 Lumens WXGA Mobile Projector from Elmo is designed to be portable. It features a 300 lumen LED lamp that, unlike traditional projector lamps, does not need to be replaced - with an estimated life of 20,000 hours. The single DLP chip delivers a native resolution of 1280 x 800 (WXGA) and the projector can accept non-native resolutions from 480i/576i (NTSC/PAL) up to 1080p Full HD thanks to internal scaling. It is ideally suited for giving presentations to small groups or in-home use, and produces a recommended image size of up to 68" diagonal - depending on ambient light and projection surface.

Its HDMI input is suitable for a wide range of sources, including computers, smartphones and tablets (with MHL or other suitable adapter), Blu-ray Disc and DVD players, and more. HDCP support means you can also view copy-protected sources such as commercial Blu-rays and certain Internet streaming channels. For audio output there is a built-in one-watt speaker, or you can use the 3.5mm mini jack output to connect external speakers that have their own amplification.

300 Lumens LED Lamp
A LED lamp provides 300 lumens brightness in Normal (full brightness) mode, and is estimated to last 20,000 hours. To determine the ideal brightness level for your application, you will need to take into account the screen width, distance from the projector to the screen (throw distance), amount of ambient light near the screen, and the reflectivity (gain) of the screen surface used
16:10 Native Aspect Ratio
This projector features a 16:10 native aspect ratio. This is considered a widescreen format, and comes very close to the 16:9 standard of HDTV. This format is ideal if you plan to show HD video, and can still be used for presentations - though in the case of PowerPoints some extra space may be leftover on the sides. The projector can show 4:3 too; however black bars (pillaring) will have to be applied, or the image will have to be stretched or cropped to fit.
Single Chip DLP Technology
Uses a combination of a chip covered in millions of micro-mirrors and a color wheel to produce an image. DLP features less spacing between pixels and better contrast than many comparable LCD-based systems, and the design does not require a filter that needs to be replaced
True Color Support
True Color refers to 24-bit (8-bit per RGB channel) color, which produces approximately 16.8 million color variations
Approximately 1:1 Throw Ratio
A throw ratio of 1:1 means the projector can throw an image that is same width as the projector is far away from the screen. For example, at 3.3' (40") the projector will produce a 50" diagonal (42" wide) image
Portability-Focused

47 dB Operation in Normal Mode
The cooling system produces approximately 47 dB in Normal mode, a figure which drops to 40 dB in the lower brightness Eco mode
