The 7G PS/2 Keyboard from SteelSeries is a heavyweight gaming keyboard designed to improve gaming and typing accuracy. The mechanical key switches are gold plated to increase durability and performance and to avoid the corrosion commonly affecting other metals. The keys are very sensitive and don't have to be pressed all the way down to register. This will increase your average words per minute, and is especially beneficial for gaming, where seconds make a difference. The keys have an expected life-cycle of 50 million key presses. The keyboard connects to a console via a PS/2 port, and a PS/2 to USB adapter is provided if you want to connect it via USB. When connected via PS/2, the 7G supports anti-ghosting, which allows numerous keys to be simultaneously pressed, recognized, and registered. The 7G has a double braided nylon cable with gold plated connectors as well as two audio jacks for connecting speakers, a microphone, and other devices. Two USB ports on the side of the keyboard allow you to attach your mouse or charge your phone and other devices.
