    FiiO E10 reviews

E10K USB DAC Headphone Amplifier is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice Windows 7 auto-installed the drivers for this device and made it the default audio device. When unplugged the Xonar D1 sound card again becomes default. Thus no back and forth to the Control Panel. The clarity of music with this device, with Beyerdynamic DT880 headphones, is significantly better than the output from the Xonar D1. I still use the Xonar card for speakers. There isn't an on/off switch so I unplug it when not using headphones. For casual listening I leave the volume knob at 3-4, out of 8. I made this purchase hoping to improve the per- formance of the DT 880 headphones and it has delivered.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Made no difference that I could tell. I purchased this after buying a pair of Hifiman HE-400 headphones and reading on numerous audiophile sites that I needed an amp to get the most of out of my headphones. I noticed no difference in a few days of listening between this amp on my Hifiman headphones and my Grado SR-80 headphones. The only justification I could make for owning this would be the much higher volume ceiling I could get. On my HP laptop, I have the volume maxed at 100 and it gets acceptably loud. But if I really wanted to rock out and go very loud, I would need additional amplification like this. So either I have horrible hearing, or the improvements this makes to the tonal quality of the headphones is negligible compared to my laptop headphone jack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FiiO at it's best I love this little thing. Mid range frequencies are lovely. Actually not bad with Sennheiser HD 600. No complaints!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly Clean Amplifier! Huge sound improvement! For you, those who have notebooks and want a infinitely better sound quality, this AMP is for you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid compromise This thing relativly cheap way to significantly improve your audio experiance. While not a replacement for good headphones, this thing manages to make my ATH M-50s sound incredable. While the audio from my computer may have been subpar and my smartphone obviously has issues cranking up the bass, the E10K allows me to listen to music clearly at high volumes without sharp noises or distortion. Most importantly, this seperates your listening experiance from the hardware you're using. Music will and does sound the same whether from your desktop computer or your android phone. Also, for future expansion, this device also includes an analog unamplified line out in the back as well as a digital coaxial output. All in all, this thing allows you to crank up the volume and bass and enjoy a nice ear massage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than I expected! Drives easily Beyerdynamic DT 770 250 ohm. Line out and bass boost also excellent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value for the money, but... It fails to live up to some of the glowing review I've read about it. Is it better than the onboard sound of your computer/laptop? Yes, most likely it will be an improvement, but how much? In my opinion it's not a major step up in sound quality over the onboard sound of my laptop....but I would say it's enough to make the purchase worthwhile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm no audiophile but I can tell the difference. Sounds great for my needs. Drives my Sony MDR-V6 perfectly fine. I am no audiophile but I can tell the noise floor is much lower, and my headsets sound a bit crisper when I had my friends do a blinded sound test. Another benefit is I can use a long usb cord to mount this device under the desk.
