The MindShift Gear Filter Nest Storage Case is a two-piece storage solution designed for carrying and organizing round filters. Comprised of two separate pouches-an outer protective shell and an inner organizer-this versatile case can accommodate eight filters, lens caps, or step-up/down rings up to 82mm in diameter. Additionally, both an integrated belt loop and grab handle on the outer case offer a variety of means for porting and attaching the case to backpacks, belts, and even tripods.

The outer pouch is a padded, zippered shell designed with an additional front zippered pocket for holding lens cloths or other small accessories. This pouch's belt loop is compatible with the rotation180° Panorama and Professional backpacks, where it attaches to the waist strap to integrate into the unique sliding mechanism of the pack. Alternatively, a grab-handle with slide-release closure can be used for simply carrying the ouch or for hanging from a tripod for easy access while shooting.

The removable inner pouch holds round filters side-by-side within a series of four divided layers, each of which is color-coded. The rear-most divider is wider than the others to specifically accommodate thicker filters, such as variable NDs and polarizing filters. The dividers are constructed from a no-scratch material to ensure protection from dust and debris.

Two-piece storage case includes both a padded outer shell and an internal divider organizer.
Internal pouch can accommodate up to eight round filters, lens caps, or step rings measuring 82mm in diameter.
Dividers are color-coded for quick, easy access to specific contents.
Rear-most divider is designed to hold thicker filter types, such as variable NDs and circular polarizers.
Inner pouch utilizes a hook-and-loop fastening system to protect its contents.
Outer protective shell features an integrated belt loop, which can be attached directly to rotation180° backpacks.
Outer shell has a zippered closure as well as a front zip pocket for holding smaller accessories, such as lens cloths.
A grab-handle with slide release closure enables attachment to tripods for seamless access to case's contents.

Filter Nest Storage Case is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Bought this case to house multiple filters and step-up rings. There is enough space between individual nests to fit the width of the step-up rings with ease. I was able to put 3 step-up rings, 4 filters and a lens cap in the case. It has a protective cover that goes over the filter area. There is additional room for some lens cloths inside and a zippered pocket outside for lens cloths, lens papers or perhaps a lens pen. I have it packed with the filters but have not had it in the field yet. It fits nicely in my camera backpack for traveling and could be attached to a belt or outside the backpack while in use. it works great for my intended purposes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great filter storage I've bought many different filter wallets, plastic cases, single filter holders, stack caps, etc for filter storage. Only now with this MindShift Gear Filter Nest am I satisfied that my filters are fully protected, while at the same time keeping them dust free as possible. The features I like about this line of filter cases is: 1. The zipper top - not a loosely closing velcro top with gaps for letting in dust & 2. the inner flap that optionally covers the top of all the filter slots, for added protection against dust & dirt. I also own the smaller version of this case and I'm equally satisfied with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Great little case, well made, snug fitting closure. The filters fit snuggly, not a sloppy fit at all with little chance of any falling out if you have at least two filters in there but are easily accessed. As mentioned by other reviewers, there could have been some type of belt clip, loop, Velcro device included for use on a belt or strap. The removable insert seems to be a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Unnecessary. A bit pricey for what it is? Perhaps. But convenience has a price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for filters I have tried a lot of filter cases, pouches, and wraps. This is hands down the best one for round filters. It's compact, so it fits in the same slot in my bag as a zoom lens. It holds filters up to my 82mm polarizer, including my 77mm variable ND -- though that one is a little tight. The protective pouch with 8 filter slots fits inside the zippered case, which leaves me room in front and back of the pouch to carry step-up and -down rings (in other words, I am not wasting a filter slot on step rings).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just wonderful I use the case to carry filters for my lenses in the field. It is rugged, and incredibly easy to use. The filters fit nicely in the color coordinated pockets. It is easy to take them out. It has extra room so when I buy extra filters in the future, I will not have any problems, Right now I also use it to store lens caps ( they were usually falling out of my pockets). I also stick my camera manual in the last pocket.. I find it very practical, and so far I have had no problems with it. It seems sturdy, well made. Someone put a lot of thought into designing this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good option for Lee Seven5 filters I recently purchased a set of Lee Seven5 filters for use with my Olympus OM-D E-M1 system. I was unable to find a suitable case specifically designed for the Seven5 filters (75mm x 90mm), so I took a chance that the Mindshift Filter Nest has the right dimensions for the rectangular filters. I was not disappointed. The fit is perfect. The construction is high quality. The outer pocket accommodates cleaning supplies or other small items. I'll be attaching the case to the Mindshift Panorama 180.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Designed Storage Case I Love ThinkTank products. This company is a spin-off which specializes in designing bags and cases for most outdoor adventures. The bag is well constructed. I carry eight filters in the center section, a step-up ring, filter wrench and micro cloth in the front and back sections. There is a side pocket which I use for a cable remote. Lastly, there is a small strap perfect for attaching to base of the tripod/head. Negatives: The Price is not Cheap for a small bag but well built.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from finally something that will hold all of my filters! A bit bulkier than I had envisioned it when I ordered it, but great for holding all of my filters. It's really a two-in-one item though, with an inside pouch that can come out of the bulkier outer case. Mostly I am just using the inside part for storage inside my big camera bag -- not sure if I will end up using the outer part for much, but am keeping it around because I could see it becoming handy for other accessories.
