I had a pair of older Ultimate speaker stands that had a 1 1/2 inch diameter and Mackie speakers with a 1 3/8 inch hole This was exactly what i needed to make them work.
I had an older/cheaper model of speaker stands that came with plastic pole size adapters. One adapter was lost the first time it was used, so a piece of PVC and duct tape had been used to make it work. Once I took over the audio I compared the adapters from the TS-80 speaker stands. It fit perfectly, so I ordered these, drilled the necessary holes to make them snap into place - and voila, I have stands that work and look like new without all the duct tape. I can also swap with the other Ultimate Support stands we use.
