after many tries with other brands this dual layer blu ray disc is a dream come true. 25 discs, 38-42 gb per disc burnt and no errors and no coasters, bad burns, and that's compared to all the other brands where 1 out of 5 end up as drink coasters, these verbatim dual layer discs, no errors, no coasters, 100% reliable and it makes them less expensive than the bargain brands factoring in nothing was wasted.

The Verbatim BD-R discs always give me 100% accurate and perfect backup of my Workstation disk drives using ImageBurn 2.5.7 which I have been using since Windows XP.

So these won't support 4K? Description says 1080P
Asked by: Michael
You /can/ store 4K content on it... and have a set-top 4K Blu-ray player play it just fine. When 1080p is mentioned in the context of Blu-ray, it usually indicates that standard Blu-ray is the topic, i.e. not BDXL. So this could be what the "Description says 1080p" is trying to indicate. A full-length, i.e. 2h, feature in 4K resolution will not /usually/ fit within less than 50GB ( 46.57 GiB ) though. You can store 4K content on even the 25GB Blu-ray disks and have a set-top 4K Blu-ray player play it just fine, as well.

question

on line your bdr dl package says 50gb but when I click on the disc it shows 25gb?
Asked by: Anonymous
I ordered the same thing... it's 25 50GB discs. If you look at the top of the pack in the picture it does say 50GB... the side says 25 pack. There were indeed 50 GB or my movie would have run out of room... the packaging is a little confusing but it's correct... 25 50GB BD-R DLThe little letters next to the 25 that you can't make out in the picture say pack in 3 laguages

question

whats the shelf life of these disks?
Asked by: Nagendra
There were two different one I have purchased and the ones you are asking about I had a lot of issues with. He is the ones I bought first then I bought the ones you are asking about and when I needed more I repurchased the first ones again. They were 6 dollars more but I had zero issues with them and I figured they would all be the same media but I was wrong. I have two different bd drives that I used to burn and same results with both. So these are the ones I will be getting from this point forward. Verbatim BD-R DL 50GB 6X DataLifePlus White Thermal Hub Printable (25 Discs)B&H # VEBDDLTWH625 MFR # 97284
