ART SCL2 Overview

The ART SCL2 Dual/ Stereo Compressor/Limiter/Expander with Gate is a dynamic signal processor designed for studio recording and live sound reinforcement applications. The 1 RU rack-mountable device is housed in a durable steel chassis and features balanced 1/4" TRS connectors and balanced XLR connectors for main channel inputs and outputs as well as a 1/4" TRS connector for a sidechain input.

The device can be used to provide anything from smooth, subtle compression to hard limiting as well as reducing noise with fast gating or through expansion. The compressor's knee, attack, and release can be set by the user or the device can be set to auto mode. A bank of LED meters provide visual feedback of each channel's gain reduction.

Streamed Music and Televison Audio Source Compression

Effective for basic compression. Of the 3 units purchased: I in 3 failed;: 33% failure Rate. When working they worked ok, these devices are not for critical use. Great for streamed music or Televison audio, not much else Contacted B & H Photo though their Chat line, they promptly provided a RMA Number, Now awaiting the replacement uni B & H Agent was courtous and efficant
